Trinity Lutheran Church is a Confessional/Liturgical member congregation of The South Wisconsin District of
The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.

WE BELIEVE STRONGLY IN THE WORD OF GOD
AS TAUGHT IN THE BOOK OF CONCORD OF 1580

EpiphanyWe believe in the Good News of the forgiveness of sins through the life, death, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ and joyfully apply this Gospel message to our daily life.  The study of the Holy Scriptures and the Lutheran Confessions is a high priority for us individually and communally.  Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we grow as brothers and sisters in Christ and in our identity as Lutheran Christians.

WE ARE PEOPLE-SENSITIVE AND CHRIST-CENTERED

We reflect the love of Christ in our lives as we care and show concern for those around us.  In response to the Gospel, we extend care and compassion to hurting people, striving to meet their spiritual and material needs.  We are sensitive to the diversity of cultures and the variety of needs among our members and among the un-churched in our community.  Working together with sister congregations, our District, and our Synod, we equip professional church workers and the laity to address the challenges and opportunities for service to God in the 21st century.

WE REACH OUT BOLDLY WITH THE GOSPEL

As our communities, nation, and world become increasingly secularized it is more crucial than ever to be vehicles through whom the Holy Spirit draws people to believe that Jesus Christ, God's Son, is their only Savior from sin and their only hope for eternal life.  Our congregation reaches out boldly with this Gospel through personal witnessing and through organized congregational efforts to touch lives with the love of God and to invite others into our midst that they may receive His grace through Word and Sacrament.  Working together with our District and Synod, we assist in sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ throughout the United States and around the world.Reformation

WE ARE FAITHFUL TO THE HISTORIC LITURGY OF THE CHURCH

We cherish the treasure that is Lutheran Liturgical Worship and strive to utilize the best traditional and contemporary hymns to provide what is becoming an increasing rarity in the Church: liturgical worship done well.  We offer music of substance that appeals both to heart and mind, providing the worshiper with a deep and thought-provoking worship experience that is getting harder and harder to find.  We are the alternative!

WE LIVE UNDER GRACE

While peace and unity are Christ's desire for us (John 16:11b, 21), let's be honest -- we don't always live up to His (or even to our own) expectations.  When our sinful nature rears its ugly head and offenses occur, or when members of our spiritual family simply stumble and fall, we strive to live in the grace of God, who forgives all our transgressions that we may forgive others their transgressions against us (Matt. 6:14-15; Luke 18:21-35).  We joyfully and graciously forgive because we have been richly and freely forgiven.

WE STRIVE TO BE GOOD STEWARDS OF GOD'S RESOURCES

In deep gratitude to God for all the blessings He has given and continues to give, we endeavor to return to Him a portion of what He has given us, giving of our time, talent, and money for the work of His Church here in our own congregation and around the world through our District and Synod.
